This Mother’s Day weekend, I thought I’d show you both ends of my life: I’m lucky enough to have both a wonderful, supportive mother, and a child of my own. Motherhood has made me appreciate how much my mom has done for me over the years. Today, she is still one of my biggest supports.
So without further ado, this is the Mother’s Day gift my first grader made for me at school (which just melts my heart) And my mom holding me as a baby. ❤ I don’t know if you can tell from my son’s drawing, but I look a LOT like my mom. 😉
Mothers of the Year don’t happen by accident… they learn from the best! 😉
A very happy Mother’s Day weekend to all of you!
Awwwwww, how sweet! I think I’m going to cry…Happy Mother’s Day!!
Happy Mother’s Day to you, too! 🙂
Beautiful thank you for the peek at your daughters art so wonderfully done if that don’t make you proud nothing will. And your mom is beautiful and so is that baby. Thank you for sharing. I wanted to ask why don’t they give credit to the people on the covers of the books the H. company publishes? It looks like some are used quite often: just wondering. I really like the way they do the covers and the back of the book helps me find my favorites when I reread them. Thank you for contacting me I enjoy hearing from you. The Lord Bless and keep you I like your company.
I’m not sure why they don’t give credit to the cover models. I do know that there are some very popular cover models like Fabio and Lenn Gunn, for example. (Not necessarily used with LI!) I know that they can do a lot of altering of photos, too. I’ve noticed some characters on covers that looks an awful lot like some celebrities, so I think a lot of artistic license is taken.
Here is an article about how the covers are done at Harlequin. I found it interesting!
