We took a long walk through some forest paths near our home today. We walked along with me rambling on about my current plotting.
“So, if I make my younger ranch hand a redeemable sort…” Luckily, my husband finds my plotting interesting.
Anyway, here we are!
From our home to yours, we wish you a very happy August! ❤
And wishing a very happy August to the Johns family, too!
Thank you! 🙂
It is wonderful to walk in the forest in the spring to pick the trillium’s and the little dog tooth lilies, to see the squirrels and all the birds and sometimes a deer. And in the winter when the trees are loaded with snow. But be careful some of those piles do fall I was warned and deer can attack and some trees have poison ivy. We used to harvest trees in the woods with horses and wagon later we harvested trees with a tractor and log boat. And we made lumber but that was many years ago.
My mother used to get a neck full of snow every time she walked under a tree! LOL! So I know what you mean about that snow falling. I haven’t walked this trail in the winter, but I should. It would be lovely. Thanks for the reminiscences!
