It’s April in Canada, so of course we got snow!
We’ll do this dance into May, and eventually, the warm weather will win. But this is what our weather looks like today.
If you have nowhere to go, it’s quite nice. If you’d hoped to leave your home for something, it’s more annoying. That snow is a sloppy mess on top of cars–a layer of slush topped by deceptively white snow. But luckily, I’m in the former category, and I’m wearing a springy dress, lounging in bed with my computer and a good book. And while I putter around, a heroine is coming together in my mind–I can see her!
Happy weekend to all of you–from Canada! Here’s hoping that your Spring looks a little more like Spring.
I’d gladly trade some of out 96F for some of your cold. Not ready for summer! 🙂
I’d take that trade! We could even things out nicely! 🙂
That’s just the way I like my snow — in a photo (smile!). I went to college in Vermont, and the year my mom and I went up for my campus visit (the month was early June), and the city still had blocks of snow shoveled up against walls and lampposts.
LOL! There are places in the US (probably Vermont included!) that get more snow than we do. We’ve had some June snowfall (that didn’t stick, but still…) but it’s the story locals tell. “Hey, remember that time it snowed in June?” It certainly isn’t the norm!
