Which publishers do you write for?

I write romance for both Harlequin and Kensington Books. When a new book is due to come out, you’ll see the cover posted on my Books page. If you click on the cover it will bring you to a buy site, but you can also find most of my books on the shelves in your local bookstore.

My Harlequin Love Inspired books are on the shelves for one month when they are released, after which you have to buy them online.

My Harlequin Heartwarming books are only sold online.

My Kensington books have a longer shelf life after they’ve been released, so you should be able to pick those up at your local bookstore for a while!

Are all of your books Inspirational or sweet?

All of my books are sweet, but in different degrees. My Harlequin Heartwarming books are sweet romance without the faith. My Harlequin Love Inspired books are sweet romance with the faith… and my Kensington books are sweet books with a little bit more sizzle.

Do you have any advice for aspiring authors?

My best piece of advice is to not give up. Keep writing, keep reading, and keep submitting. You can do this! If you want to write for Harlequin, they have some excellent writing guidelines on their webpage. They are very useful, and if you take them seriously, they’ll steer you in the right direction. Good luck!

Will you read my manuscript (or a portion of it) and give me advice?

I am asked to do this sort of editing work quite often, and I have a policy of saying no. The reason for this is that I’m a writer, not an editor, and I can’t give you qualified advice. I am also very busy working on deadlines and don’t have the time to give to side work. My best advice is to find a qualified editor who can give you professional advice. I wish you the best!
