If you haven’t, you can now read it in its complete form on the Harlequin website.

In order to read the Free Reads, you need to sign up with an email address, but that’s all. There are no other requirements, and then the full library of Free Reads–not just mine!–is yours!

You’ll find short reads that span everything from sweet (like mine) to sexy, and you can get a taste for different book lines to see what you like. I hope you’ll take a look!

If you’d like to read mine, this is the link.

Home For the Fourth of July

1906_OR1_main

Megan Davis has always wanted to leave her small Colorado hometown for life in the city. So when she finds herself back in Eagle’s Rest, brokenhearted, she tells herself it’s a temporary setback.

Determined to enjoy the Fourth of July weekend, Megan accepts Liam Scott’s invitation to his family’s holiday celebration at Blue Fish Lake. It doesn’t matter that Liam’s parents have been waging a decades-long matchmaking campaign—Megan and Liam are just friends. Megan’s life is in Denver, and Liam is committed to his job protecting Eagle’s Rest as a police officer.

But spending time with Liam reminds Megan of all she’s been missing—laughter, friendship and the natural beauty of Eagle’s Rest. Will Megan keep ignoring the deep emotions sparking between her and Liam, or is she finally ready to embrace a future that’s more than she could ever have imagined?

Have you started my free online read yet?

Harlequin posts all sorts of free novellas on their website, and all you have to do is set yourself up with an email address and password to get access. They don’t ask for any purchasing info–I know, because I’ve set myself up to get access to the free stories, too.

My latest addition to the free reads is HOME FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY. This one is set in  Eagle’s Rest, so if you’ve been reading the rest of the miniseries, you’ll enjoy this scenic little mountain town all over again.

Last year, I wrote a Thanksgiving themed novella for Harlequin’s Free Reads! If you haven’t discovered the Free Reads, you have to. They’re great–novella short romances that are absolutely free!

Last year, I contributed a free read, and mine was a story about a woman falling for her billionaire boss… and I got a great response from it!

If you haven’t read it yet, why not check it out?

Thanksgiving with her Boss

A late-night kiss is the last straw. Emmie Thomas has tamped down her crush on her boss, Rob West, for almost a year, but she just can’t anymore. What else is there to do but quit and fly to her hometown of North Fork, Alberta, for her family Thanksgiving celebration?

When a mixup sends Rob to Alberta, too, he’s determined to get her back. But does he just want her to be his assistant again? Or is he finally ready to admit he wants something more?
