book birthday
March 31 was the official release of THURSDAY’S BRIDE, and I’m so thrilled to have this book out in the world!

THURSDAY’S BRIDE is the sequel to THE BISHOP’S DAUGHTER, and it’s the story of Rosmanda, a woman with a secret that just won’t stay hidden. Levi is her late husband’s brother, and he’s the reason she’s a widow. Rosmanda’s the reason Levi is outcast… but there’s still a farm to run, and the attraction that always sparked between them is still there.

I do hope you’ll pick up a copy, either online, or on your next trip to Walmart or Target!

Thursday's Bride MM

For a proper young Amish widow struggling to begin again, encountering her reckless first love will test her forgiveness, resolve—and heart.

Overwhelmed by grief and tending twin baby daughters, Rosmanda Lapp is without options. She still blames her brother-in-law, Levi, for her husband’s accidental death—but she and her aging in-laws need him to keep their farm going. Yet as Levi takes on his responsibilities with a new determination and steadiness, she can’t help but regret that she chose his serious-minded brother over him. For Levi is still very much the passionate man she loved—and Rosmanda now has even more reasons to keep him at arm’s length.

Levi can’t blame Rosmanda for staying clear of him. He has mistakes to make up for and must finally do right by his parents. Still, he never got over his brother stealing Rosmanda away. And he can’t deny the feelings that even now tempt them back to each other. And when a mistake from her past threatens her reputation, Levi will do whatever it takes to help her—and trust that faith and courage will at last help them claim a future together.

A Rancher to Remember, amnesia, harlequin, love inspired, Montana Twins miniseries, new release, single dad, twin toddlers

Today is the official release day for A RANCHER TO REMEMBER!

If you love toddler twins, brooding cowboys and family secrets, you are going to love this third book in my MONTANA TWINS miniseries.

I spotted it in the grocery store the other day, and I couldn’t resist taking a picture of it. You’ll have to forgive me for not squatting down next to my cart with my purse balanced on one shoulder and getting into the shot with it. There are days I’m just not willing to do the gymnastics necessary in full view of strangers. LOL

So if you haven’t picked up your copy yet, please do! They are on the shelves everywhere books are sold!

And if you prefer Amazon… here’s a quick link for you, too. 😉

Any day now!

Her Cowboy's Twin Blessings, inspirational, love inspired author, love inspired books, Love Inspired romance, new release, on the shelves

Any day now, my newest release is going to hit the shelves of your favourite bookstores! The January releases will be in the stores about now, and I can’t wait to see this one “out in the wild.”

If you spot it, I hope you’ll pick up a copy! And when you see it–do me a favour?  Take a picture of it and send it to me on Facebook. I just love the chance to see my book on actual shelves. That’s something that never does get old.  You’ll seriously make my day. 🙂

This book is a real tear jerker. I sobbed my way through a few scenes writing it, if that’s any indication. And I’m not ordinarily a crier when I write! But I’m proud of this story. I really feel like it’s a good one, and I can’t wait to hear what you all think!

Two stubborn hearts. One ranch.

Could Montana Twins unite them?

With orphaned twin infants to care for, Casey Courtright hoped to buy the ranch he works on—but he can’t match Ember Reed’s offer. Nevertheless, Casey agrees to show Ember the land she plans to use for her therapy center, but only if she’ll help him with the babies. And as the twins draw them together, Casey might just find that Ember is his perfect partner.

I’m so excited about my newest release, THE RUNAWAY BRIDE. I’m particularly proud of this story–it came together so beautifully, and I really think you’ll love it!

Harlequin Heartwarming novels are available online only, so be sure to pick up a copy at your favorite e-tailer. ❀ If you click on the cover, it will bring you straight to the Harlequin website.

So without further ago, my newest Harlequin release, out this month:

runaway-bride

Damsel in distress
or veiled threat?

Bernadette Morgan left her cheating fiancĂ© moments before they were supposed to marry in the society wedding of the year. Now she’s stuck in Runt River, Ohio, with a broken-down car and a tattered wedding dress. All she wants is a place to hide. But what she finds are a handsome mechanic, a little boy and family secrets that could change everything. Because the toddler Liam Wilson’s raising is actually her cousin’s child. And she’ll do anything to protect him from her politically ambitious family, even if that means rejecting the possibility of love with Liam

Review from AK Mystery Mom on Amazon: 5 Stars

“Loved this story of a privileged American princess who discovers minutes before her wedding that her groom is cheating on her. She decides to flee, a reaction that doesn’t sit well with her family and their political aspirations. She runs to an aunt, the black sheep of the family, and stumbles into the life of her aunt’s neighbor who is trying to do the right thing about an orphaned (sort-of) two-year-old. The child is adorable, and so are the main characters in this reverse Cinderella story. This one left me smiling.”

Gifts from a practical man

Mr. Johns is an incredibly practical man. Opposites attract, what can I say? But when it comes to gifts, he tends to look for something that I can use. An item of clothing, something for the kitchen. But there have been a few times that he’s gone against his more practical instinct and bought me something sentimental–and those are gifts I remember!

  1. Love letters. Mr. Johns does not like to write, but for me, he’ll sit down about once a year and pen a love letter to me. I keep them all in a box on my dresser, and when he’s at work, I’ll sift through my little collection and reread them. Nothing is quite so sweet to me as his words on paper!img_3377
  2. An engraved clock. One anniversary, I pointed my husband in the direction of an engraving store and told him to get me something from there. He did–he bought me a clock (a nod to his practical side) that he engraved with the Swahili word “Nakupenda,” which means “I love you.” It was one of the first phrases he taught me when we were dating. I’ve cherished that clock for years!img_3378

This month, I have a Valentine’s Day novel on the shelves of your local bookstore. In this story, Kaitlyn slips a Valentine’s Day card–the silly, vintage variety–into Brody’s bag just before he leaves for boot camp. It was a standing joke between them, but that card turned into something much more meaningful to him over the next year, so that when he returned home with his leg shot up, he was a different man than who left…

***

valentine-brideBrody Mason needs a nurse. As soon as he can walk again, he’ll leave Hope, Montana, and go straight back to the army. But Kaitlyn Harpe? That’s adding insult to injury. Not just because she’s a daily reminder that Brody’s fiancĂ©e, Kate’s sister, married his best friend while he was fighting in Afghanistan. But because Kaitlyn had kept the truth from him.

The Kaitlyn he knew before he deployed would never have perpetuated a lie like that. But this new person—the confident, beautiful woman with hidden depths in her eyes—is nothing like the shy, serious girl he knew. This Kaitlyn troubles him. Because Brody is starting to wonder if he proposed to the wrong sister

I’m starting a long weekend–a much needed break. I’ve been editing various manuscripts full-tilt for a few weeks now, and I sat down at my computer yesterday and realized that I was dry. I could see that the chapter needed work, and I could even see what needed to be done, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it–a good sign that it’s time for a break.

So long weekend, here I come!

I also looked at the date and realized that I have a book hitting the shelves in a matter of days!  😀 This is thrilling, especially since Romantic Times loved this one as much as I did. (4.5 stars!)

Mackenzie Vaughn is determined to learn to run the Montana ranch she’s inherited—even if it means relying on Chet Granger. Years ago, the serious (and seriously handsome) cowboy broke up her relationship with his younger brother, and Mack doesn’t want to remember that heartache.

Chet knows gorgeous, spunky Mack is off-limits. His brother would never forgive him, and Chet always puts family first
until he can no longer ignore his feelings. If Chet gives in to his heart, he’ll lose his brother and the ranch they share—if he doesn’t, he could lose Mackenzie forever.

So take a look where you buy your Harlequins, and see if you can spot mine! I can’t wait to see it in person!
